South Florida, get ready—election season is officially kicking off! 🗳️✨ Starting this week, the first ballots for the November general election are heading out to voters in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, marking the start of the final stretch before Election Day on November 5.
In Miami-Dade, the Elections Department is sending out approximately 260,000 mail ballots on Monday to voters who’ve already requested them. Meanwhile, Broward County will be shipping out more than 230,000 vote-by-mail ballots starting Tuesday. While overseas voters already received their ballots earlier this month, now it’s the local voters’ turn to get involved.
The next six weeks are all about voting, campaigning, and organizing—so if you haven’t already requested your mail ballot, now’s the time to get on it! Whether you’re hitting up the polls in person or mailing in your ballot, your vote counts big time this November. Let’s make it happen, South Florida!
