Another one bites the runway 😬 — JetBlue is officially pulling out of Miami International Airport (MIA) starting September 3, and yeah… it’s giving ✂️ energy.

After cutting its Miami routes down to just one lonely flight to Boston, JetBlue says it’s done playing the MIA game. Why? Low demand and unprofitable vibes. Ouch.

📉 Back in 2021, JetBlue was kind of a moment at MIA — flying to NYC, LA, Hartford and more with 14 daily flights. But apparently the numbers weren’t numbering, and the airline slowly started backing out like a bad situationship.

🔁 Got a flight booked? Don’t panic — JetBlue says you’ll either get a full refund or a rebooked option through Fort Lauderdale (FLL), where they’re still going strong as the second-largest carrier after Spirit.

Let’s be real: for a lot of South Florida locals, FLL is basically just MIA’s chill cousin anyway. So maybe not a total L?

Still, some travelers are annoyed by the switch, especially those flying for business or coming in hot for Miami’s nightlife scene. 🌴🕶️

💬 Is this gonna ruin your travel plans? Or are you totally fine swapping Miami glitz for Fort Lauderdale ease?
